Frames to supply two desalters to MOL Duna Refinery

Frames, an oil and gas downstream equipment supplier, was awarded a contract to supply two desalters (electrostatic coalescers) to Hungarian oil and gas company MOL Group for the Duna Refinery near Budapest. The Frames Desalters will enable MOL to process a range of crude oils. The desalters are two-phase separators that use an electrostatic field to remove water and salts from crude oil, allowing cost-effective transport and protecting downstream processes from corrosion and fouling.
