MILFORD, Del. — Officials from the Kent County Regional Wastewater Treatment Plant in Milford, Del. said new funding will help improve the plant’s energy efficiency and environmental concerns, according to the The Beacon.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture is expected to provide over $7.5 million in funding to support two efficiency projects and extend county sewer service to 255 homes and three businesses in the Magnolia, Del. area, noted the article.

Part of the $7.5 million will go towards the Paris Villa/London Village sewer extension project, which will replace infrastructure that was built in the 1940s and 1950s, stated the article.
