Herschell Environmental president receives AMTA award

PITTSBURGH, Pa. — Judith Herschell received the Presidential Award during the 2014 AWWA/AMTA Membrane Technology Conference and Exhibition.

PITTSBURGH, Pa. — Judith Herschell, president of Herschell Environmental in Pittsburgh, is the recipient of the 2014 American Membrane Technology Association’s (AMTA) Presidential Award, according to a press release.

The award was conferred during the 2014 AWWA/AMTA Membrane Technology Conference and Exposition, which Herschell chaired, the release noted.

The award acknowledges individuals who have made significant contributions to the growth and development of the Association, reported the release.

Herschell is a respected consultant in the water treatment and engineered systems industries, continued the release, and during her 29 year career, she has held executive positions in water treatment companies and served in important leadership capacities in various professional associations.

Herschell noted, “It was an honor to serve as chair and to be recognized by AMTA with the Presidential Award. The Program Committee, in concert with both professional organizations, organized an exceptional conference, bringing excellent value to the attendees.”
