The pumps are constructed with ductile iron and steel materials, allowing higher discharge pressures to 217.5 psi. Their seal-free design eliminates leaks, contamination and product loss while reducing maintenance and repairs. Blackmer, Grand Rapids, MI, 616-248-9252, www.blackmer.com

Double-diaphragm pumps

Wilden® Original™ Series T2 Metal Air-Operated Double-Diaphragm (AODD) Pumps feature the performance versatility necessary for use in various wastewater applications. This 1” pump has wetted housings, water chambers and manifolds that are constructed of aluminum, making it the best choice for solid-laden wastewater-treatment applications. Non-wetted housings are constructed of brass and aluminum. The pump offers flow rates to 35 gpm and can handle pressures up to 125 psi. It has maximum suction-lift capabilities of 17’ for dry products and 31’ for wet products, while being able to handle solids with diameters reaching 1/8”. Wilden Pump & Engineering LLC, Grand Terrace, CA, 909-422-1730

Progressive cavity pump

The Larox progress cavity pump is designed for demanding industrial slurry and paste pumping applications. Due to its unique design, high efficiency and high pressure are achieved with a shorter construction length. The precise Evenwall 3D-technology with 2-lobe rotor geometry allows for a rigid and tighter pumping unit compared to conventional progressive cavity pumps. The mechanical shaft seal can be replaced without dismantling the pump or its drive shaft and coupling. Larox Flowsys Inc., Linthicum, MD, 410-636-2250, www.larox.fi/flowsys

Centrifugal pumps

Griswold™ Pump Company’s E, F & G Series Centrifugal Pumps are ideal for most water-pumping applications thanks to capacities up to 3,000 gpm, heads to 310 feet and a broad range of sizes and configuration options. The pumps are equipped with a choice of either a close-coupled NEMA electric motor or frame-mounted with couplings to electric motors, engines, steam turbines or belt-driven motors. Their 360-degree mounting capabilities extend installation options, while closed-coupled configurations can also be mounted vertically when space is at a minimum. Griswold Pump Co., Grand Terrace, CA, 229-226-5255, www.griswoldpump.com

Oil detection system

To complement its full line of Hydromatic® pumps, Pentair Flow Technologies has launched the Hydromatic ODS Series™ oil detection system. This combination of ½ HP sump/effluent pump with Pentek® control system (control panel, alarm, and sensor) is approved for applications where water is removed but oil & other hydrocarbons must not be discharged. The ODS Series is a complete, fully-integrated and packaged system. The control unit monitors water and oil levels; pumping out water without discharging oil and other hydrocarbons. The system alerts to high levels of oil and water, and will shut down the pump before discharging harmful substances. Hydromatic, Ashland, OH, www.hydromatic.com

Pump replacement parts

Moyno® replacement parts ensure the company’s pumps continue to provide their original performance. The company’s replacement parts consistently meet all product design parameters, quality standards and manufacturing tolerances. The replacement parts install correctly the first time, ensure accurate form and fit to meet original product specifications and protect product warranties. Moyno maintains the largest in-field inventory of progressing cavity replacement parts in North America to ensure availability and reduce process delays. Metering pumps

Neptune Chemical Pump Company’s Series 500 hydraulic diaphragm metering pumps are adjustable while running through 100% of range. The pumps have capabilities to 80 gph simplex and 160 gph duplex at 100 psi. They are equipped with a standard energy-efficient 1/3 hp motor that includes a built-in automatic thermal overload, but are also available with bi-directional, 12-volt and 115-volt motor options. An optional internal relief valve viewing line allows the operator to see if oil is bypassing through the valve and that the valve is operating in case of blockage or overpressure. Motor control

With the Replacement Motor Control Center Buckets from Square D by Schneider Electric, almost all MCCs can be upgraded and retrofitted without the need to replace the entire MCC. By retrofitting instead of replacing an existing MCC, upgrade costs are reduced by reusing old enclosure and bussing material. Time is also saved since simply retrofitting is quicker than replacing one. Retrofitting a bucket for an MCC means replacement parts will be readily available, while also effectively bringing the MCC up to current industry standards. Square D by Schneider Electric’s MCC retrofit buckets can be installed in most OEM MCCs, including Allen-Bradley, General Electric, and Westinghouse/Cutler-Hammer. Pump bushings

Two grades of self-lubricating Graphalloy® bushing materials, manufactured by Graphite Metallizing Corp., have been certified by NSF International to NSF/ANSI Standard 61 for use in municipal well pumps and water treatment plant applications. These newly certified grades are used in the manufacture of pump bushings and bearings for both vertical and horizontal pumps. They are often used for deep well water pump applications in the western U.S., Hawaii and around the world. Graphite Metallizing Corp., Yonkers, NY, 914-968-8400, www.graphalloy.com

Sampling pump

The Model 410 Peristaltic Pump from Solinst Canada is suited for water and vapor sampling from shallow wells or surface water. It is compact, lightweight and water resistant. The robust metal case makes it easy to maintain and repair. One control enables reversible flow and various speeds, allowing high or low-flow sampling. Simply connect to a 12 vDC power source to operate.Solinst Canada Ltd., Georgetown, ON Canada, 905-873-2255, www.solinst.com
