Collection of corrosion control related products and services for the industrial water and wastewater market.
ABRESIST® basalt-lined piping from Kalenborn Abresist lasts 5 times longer than 1/2” wall cast iron. Pipes, elbows and fittings are custom engineered for each application and can be provided in a variety of end connection arrangements to easily retrofit into existing systems or install in new ones using flanges, grooved couplings, compression couplings or welded attachment. Most coating systems can be applied to the carbon steel outer casing. Excellent for abrasive slurry systems and pneumatic systems in pressure or vacuum conditions.
GF Piping Systems’ corrosion-resistant pneumatic diaphragm valve provides a new, long-lasting solution for not only highly corrosive dosing applications but also open/close applications. The Type 604/605 Pneumatically Actuated Dosing Valve is designed and tested to surpass two million life cycles. The 1/2” (d20) size 604/605 Valve is available in body materials PVC, CPVC, PROGEF Standard PP, and SYGEF Standard PVDF with a wide variety of end connections and custom assemblies. The valve is pressure rated at 90 psi unidirectional with operating temperatures ranging from -4 to +284°F, depending on body material.
Materia’s Proxima® thermoset resins provide reliable, practical and economical solutions that solve major technology challenges in subsea thermal insulation, subsea buoyancy and downhole tools for the oil and gas industry. Proxima resins are extremely easy to process due to their inherently low viscosity and controlled cure profile. Proxima HTI resins for high-temperature subsea thermal insulation provide an effective thermal barrier between high-temperature flowlines and seawater. Proxima polymers maintain structural integrity in operating environments at water depths greater than 10,000 ft., and this advanced insulation technology can be rapidly and safely applied in the factory or the field.
Cortec’s VpCI®-368 coating has recently added extra Vapor phase Corrosion Inhibitors. Already, VpCI-368 provides excellent protection to metal substrates exposed to harsh outdoor conditions. The dark brown viscous liquid dries into a firm moisture-displacing wax-like film that can be removed by mineral spirits or alkaline cleaners such as Cortec VpCI-414. The film can be used for a variety of applications where heavy-duty corrosion protection is needed. Available for application in complex, sealed spaces where a greater concentration of vapor inhibitor is beneficial. The extra dose of Cortec VpCI vaporizes from the coating, fills the enclosed space, and adsorbs on difficult-to-reach surfaces.
Many of Technical Systems Inc.’s (TSI) products are available in corrosion-resistant designs, making them suitable for use in coastal manufacturing, comfort, and process cooling environments. They are also ideal for inland applications utilizing corrosive chemicals, such as poultry processing, animal byproduct production, and water treatment plants. Cooling products for corrosive environments may be built with 3/16 stainless steel, copper piping, and specially coated cooling coils. For especially corrosive environments, or for customers looking for extended product lifespan despite corrosive conditions, TSI offers passivation and electropolishing of stainless-steel materials to further increase their corrosion resistance.
