Kenics® KM Series Static Mixers from Chemineer feature a patented helical mixing element which produces complete radial mixing and flow division for any combination of liquids, gases or solids. The smooth element geometry results in efficient mixing of miscible fluids in laminar or turbulent flow and dispersion of immiscible fluids or gases while producing very low pressure drop. The mixers have no moving parts and require no external power or regular maintenance. Four distinct styles are offered: fixed-element, removable-element, edge-sealed element, and element-assembly.

The patented "J' Model Inlet Stabilizer from Blacoh is designed specifically for the inlet side of all pumps and improves inlet flow conditions, insuring adequate flow into the pump and extending the service life of all inlet system components. The inlet stabilizer features a unique control unit designed so that either a positive pressure charge or a vacuum can be set in the stabilizer. This compensates for any pump inlet system whether the pump is operating under suction lift or positive inlet conditions.

Hach Company's 9073 Sodium Analyzer monitors sodium, a key indicator of condenser leakage in boiler water applications. The analyzer can detect down to 20 parts per trillion (ppt). It features automatic microprocessor-controlled temperature compensation and automatic one- or two-point calibrations by standard addition. The automated instrument calibrations make the analyzer low maintenance. In addition, the frequent automated calibrations greatly reduce the need for etching. The analyzer's pH sample conditioning system adjusts for acidic sample conditions by automatically adjusting the pH level to greater than 10.

R&M Energy Systems, a unit of Robbins & Myers, offers Resun® Cylindrical Plug Valves for flow control under a wide range of service conditions. Manufactured from cast iron, carbon steel, bronze, stainless steel, or custom alloy materials, the valves are available in sizes from 1/2" to 30". The cylindrical plugs are machined to exacting tolerances, and provide a consistent, bubble-tight seal. Compared to tapered plugs, their full-round port design provides a greater flow path and will not bind under high pressure.

G.H. Stenner has introduced the SVP Series, a new variable speed peristaltic metering pump with optional 4-20 mA input for automatic control. Capable of 1.66 gph at 100 PSI and 3.5 gph at 25 PSI, the pumps are designed to respond directly to a 4-20 mA input signal from water treatment controls including pH and ORP monitors to maintain proper water chemistry and treatment of effluent discharge water. The SVP features a 4-button keypad for manual adjustment and an LED display. Control adjustment ranges from 5-100% in 1% increments. The pumps are self-priming up to 25 feet.

PureLine offers the PureStrip™ line of chlorine dioxide generators for water disinfection. The model P-40E uses 25% sodium chlorite as a single precursor to produce 99.5% pure chlorine dioxide gas on site and on demand. It generates 0.1 to 40 pounds of chlorine dioxide gas per day, and often as much as 45 to 50 pounds per day. The chlorine dioxide gas is educted into the process stream via a vacuum to ensure no chlorine, bromate, perchlorate, chlorite or chlorate is injected into the water to be treated. The system features a recirculating anolyte loop, long-life electrolytic cells, an automated programmable logic controller with a color touch-screen operator interface terminal, and integrated DCS capability.
