The EBAA Iron RS3800 restrained sleeve is an economical alternative to harnessing unrestrained repair type couplings. It consists of a fusion-bonded epoxy sleeve body and a pair of restraint rings with integral gripping wedges. Corrosion resistant threaded connecting studs and nuts meet the requirements of ANSI/AWWA C111/A21.11. Gripping wedges with torque-limiting, twist-off nuts ensure proper actuating of the restraining devices. The sleeves can be used on ductile iron, steel and PVC pipe (AWWA C-900 & ASTM 2241) in sizes 3 through 12 inches.

The Dresser Style "360" pipe repair clamp offers simplicity and ease of installation. Just remove the ductile iron lugs, wrap the clamp around the pipe, re-insert the lugs and drop the bolts in place and tighten. Since the lugs are removed prior to installation, there's no need for extra excavation beneath the pipe for additional clearance.

Smoke system

For over 40 years the SuperiortrademarkSmoke testing technique has been used to pinpoint sources of storm water inflow into sewage systems. The smoke can be used to trace uncapped or abandoned lines; illegal connections; odor problems; leaky manholes; line stoppages and more. The 30-L smoke system is designed to optimize dry smoke output. Its insulated heating chamber retains heat and maximizes smoke production, while the precision fluid injection orifice helps minimize the chance of "overloading" the heating chamber. The blower features a 5.0 horsepower Briggs & Stratton engine and a 10 blade fan.

Flexible connector

The G3 Boot System from A-Lok Products is a flexible pipe to manhole connector for sanitary/stormwater systems, installed in a cored/cast hole of a concrete structure. The G3 band simplifies installation. Tightening the stainless steel bolt, the band expands, compressing the connector, creating a watertight seal. With structure in position, the pipe can be inserted into the O-Ring, eliminating rubber wrinkling and compensating for pipe irregularity. The new G3 Component Packaging keeps installation instructions, take-down clamp, boot and band secured together from factory to jobsite.

Electrical scale control

Scalewatchertrademark systems installed onto the cold water pipe of cooling towers have reduced the cleaning required and chemical usage. The patented technology works by producing a complex frequency modulated waveform. It creates an induced electric field inside the pipe that promotes scaling crystal growth in the water. The crystals remain in the flow of the water and no longer contribute to the build-up of hard pipewall deposits. Existing scale layers soften. System water flow removes the loosened scale crystals.
