Centrifuges
J-Spin solid bowl decanter centrifuges from USFilter Dewatering Systems offer a minimal-maintenance solution to continuous liquid clarifying and solids de-watering. The versatile systems are easy to operate and require little operator attention. They are capable of adapting to varying throughput, process and material types. The J-Spin system consists primarily of a bowl, conveyor, motor/backdrive and base. The case serves as a guard and complete enclosure for the rotating assembly, as well as containing and directing the cake solids and effluent discharged from the rotating assembly. Insertable magmeter
Marsh-McBirney recently introduced an addition to its existing Multi-Mag product line - a new high strength probe designed for high velocities and large pipe sizes. The new insertable multi-electrode sensor is ideal for pipe sizes 36 to 120 inches. An array of electromagnetic sensors is located on the insertable probe that spans the entire pipe diameter. The probe detects and compensates for shifting profiles.

Customized pump solutions
Standard Alloys offers its Custom Hydraulic Solution (CHS) to reduce or eliminate cavitation, increase capacity and reduce power consumption. This 46-inch custom impeller design has increased the capacity of the Worthington pump from 88,000 gpm at 96 feet Total Developed Head (TDH) to 94,000 gpm at 100 ft TDH. The CHS decreased the Net Positive Suction Head Required (NPSHR) from 22 feet to 17 feet at the 94,000 gpm flow and reduced the pump cavitation. Additionally the amp loading on the 2500 horsepower motor was reduced from 329 to 319 with the increased capacity. The company also upgraded the metallurgy from bronze to CD-4MCu.

Biological control agents
