Portable monitoring device

Fluke Condition Monitoring is a new system of rugged voltage, current, temperature, and power sensors that can be moved from asset to asset or left in place for continuous monitoring. Maintenance teams get a practical, scalable system that delivers the continuous data and alarms they need to prevent equipment downtime without costly equipment retrofits or specialized training. Consists of wireless sensors and a gateway that receives signals from the sensors from up to 30 feet away and works seamlessly with trusted, award-winning Fluke technologies, such as iFlex® current probes, current clamps, temperature sensors and three-phase power monitoring.

Sludge blanket level detector

Markland’s handheld detector, The Sludge Gun®, measures silt or sludge interface levels in clarifiers, tanks and lagoons, and helps provide valuable biosolids level profiles. It allows users to eliminate unnecessary dredging/pumping and monitor sludge bed depth for regulatory compliance and prevention of carryover. The Sludge Gun uses high-intensity, infrared light to locate both sludge blanket and overlying cloudy layer in concentrations ranging from light flocs to thick blankets. It is compact, weatherproof and convenient for boats and catwalks with no calibration required.

System-wide monitoring

The Sentinel™ PRO remote monitoring system can interface with any water/wastewater processing equipment that uses a programmable logic controller (PLC) with Modbus sensors. The system monitors, delivers alarms and logs data input/output points from third-party Modbus sensors, transducers and PLCs. It supports Modbus RTU/485 and Modbus TCP. The system interacts with all existing sensors within a facility and provides operators with on-demand, real-time status and data acquisition from any Internet-connected device. Only one Sentinel PRO unit is required to monitor up to 64 Modbus registers or 12 different digital or analog status conditions at remote pump stations and tank farms.
