The E-ProTM electric valve closure system is used in municipal and industrial facilities with pressurized 1-ton and 150-pound cylinders of chlorine, SO2, ammonia and other hazardous gases onsite. It compliments Powell’s successful MaxProTM pneumatic valve closure system and is designed for applications where electric operation is an alternative to conventional air- or nitrogen-driven systems. Operating with standard 120-volt AC power, the actuator is reversible and the “Open” button can be used to re-open any non-leaking valve the unit has closed.
