Water service filter: Schroeder Industries

Schroeder Industries has introduced its WQF5 Water Service Filter for applications that include mining. The medium pressure, 300 gpm filter is designed to eliminate contamination in the water used to make invert emulsions like 95/5 fluids often used in underground mining applications. The WQF5 is a Q size housing that is nickel-plated for service in water applications, and features a 40 lb bypass spring. It is offered with the company's Excellement® Z-Media™ ranging from 25 to 1 micron and Metal Mesh Media in 60 and 150 micron.
