LAS VEGAS — WaterSmart Innovations (WSI), the world’s largest urban water-efficiency conference, announced a strategic partnership agreement with San Francisco-based non-profit organization Imagine H20, according to a press release.

Founded in 2007 by a team of leaders in the water, energy and non-profit sectors at Harvard Business School, Imagine H2O seeks to inspire and empower people to solve water problems. Imagine H2O hosts an annual prize competition for water innovation and offers an accelerator program to help entrepreneurs turn their plans into real-world solutions.

“Our business accelerator program provides a path-to-market solution for water innovations and startups,” said Scott Bryan, Imagine H2O's chief operating officer. “Thus, a partnership with the world’s largest water efficiency conference provides promising entrepreneurs in our network with connections to some the most innovative water agencies and market partners. Through our work with WSI, we look forward catalyzing entrepreneurial innovation and supporting the implementation of new solutions in the water efficiency sector.”

Since its debut in 2008, WSI has drawn attendees from across the country and around the world. To date, attendees have come from 45 states and 27 foreign nations. WSI features a comprehensive slate of professional sessions and panel discussions and an exposition featuring water-efficient products and services.
