HydroNovation Inc. receives investment from Kemflo International

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. — The investment was part of HydroNovation’s Series C financing for the development of innovative water conditioning systems.

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. — Kemflo International, a manufacturer of water treatment products, has invested for the first time in HydroNovation Inc., a developer of water conditioning systems, as part of the company's Series C financing, according to a press release.

HydroNovation Inc. is supported by 3M New Ventures, a company based in Munich that identifies and invests in highly innovative companies, which also invested during the Series C financing round, according to the release.

"Our partnership with Kemflo enhances our ability to execute our manufacturing strategy and to continue the considerable progress that we've made to date," said Anil Jha, founder and CEO of HydroNovation.

Anil Jha founded HydroNovation in 2008, continued the release, and its patented HydroDi™ technology is a chemical-free water treatment solution using electricity and ion exchange membranes to remove ions from water.

"We believe the development of this advanced water treatment technology will have global applications," said C.S. Lin, CEO of Kemflo. "We also believe Kemflo can add value to this new technology through leveraging our considerable manufacturing and design expertise."
