CH2M HILL’s Huggins receives Beaubien Award

DENVER — The Beaubian Award from ACEC is awarded for lifetime achievements in the consulting engineering industry.

DENVER — Norm Huggins, senior vice president of CH2M HILL, was presented the Beaubien Award during the 2013 Canadian Consulting Engineering award gala in Ottawa, Canada this month, according to a press release.

This award from the Association of Consulting Engineering Companies — Canada (ACEC) goes to one person each year who has contributed to advancing the industry and profession as well as ACEC itself, the release reported.

According to the release, Huggins has been with CH2M HILL for 45 years designing water and wastewater infrastructure.

Huggins has also been involved with ACEC as a board member and chair, the release noted.

"Norm has dedicated much of his long career to serving the engineering profession and its membership organizations, such as ACEC, as well as Consulting Engineers of Ontario (CEO," said Peter Nicol, CH2M HILL senior vice president and managing director, International Water.
