RALEIGH, N.C. — Lou D’Ambrosio will discuss clean tech initiatives worldwide at the inaugural summit on Feb. 26.

RALEIGH, N.C. — Sensus has announced that Chairman Lou D'Ambrosio will be the keynote speaker at the inaugural N.C. Clean Tech Summit on Feb. 26, according to a press release.

D'Ambrosio will discuss how technology and clean tech initiatives around the world are transforming the energy and water industries and enabling resource conservation for a cleaner and more sustainable future, the release reported.

The Clean Tech Summit is a partnership of the UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School Center for Sustainable Enterprise, UNC Institute for the Environment, the Research Triangle Cleantech Cluster and Strata Solar, noted the release.

“It’s a changing world and industry and if we all don’t transform, reinvent and refocus, we’re going to leave behind a world that’s struggling with even bigger energy and environmental issues,” said D’Ambrosio. “The effects of transforming the water and energy industries now—using clean technologies—will have lasting benefits for utilities, consumers and society.”

According to the release, Sensus, which provides water, electric and gas utilities worldwide with products and services to help them conserve water and energy and increase efficiency, is a founding board member for the Research Triangle Cleantech Cluster.
