Arsenic removal

Remove arsenic with ResinTech ASM-10-HP.

Arsenic is a known carcinogen, increasing the risk of cancer even at very low concentrations. Arsenic occurs naturally in many groundwaters throughout the USA, less commonly in surface waters. With the recent passage of new limits restricting arsenic levels in potable water, many public water supplies require arsenic reduction prior to use.

Although there are many treatment technologies available for arsenic reduction, one of the simplest methods is to use an arsenic selective adsorbent media. This type of system is well suited for residential systems as well as larger commercial and municipal systems, requiring little or no maintenance and only periodic monitoring.

ResinTech manufactures a unique arsenic selective adsorbent resin hybrid, ASM-10-HP that is ideal for pump and treat installations. This product is much faster kinetically than other adsorbents and will remove pentavalent arsenic to well below the current EPA standard for many thousands of bed volumes before exhaustion. This product can be regenerated and re-used or can be disposed of as non-hazardous waste, in most cases.

ResinTech ASM-10-HP is specially prepared to be taste and odor free. ASM-10-HP is also dust free, does not require respirators or other protective devices while handling and requires no rinsing or backwashing prior to use. ASM-10-HP is WQA certified to meet the ANSI/NSF 61 standard for potable water.
