The 7th World Water Forum to focus on water security & sustainability

KOREA — The seventh edition of the world’s largest water event will gather participants from the international water community as well as policy and decision makers.

KOREA — The seventh edition of the world’s largest water event will gather participants from the international water community as well as policy and decision makers from every corner of the world to discuss current water issues and catalyze positive change.

The 7th World Water Forum will be held in Daegu – Gyeongbuk, Republic of Korea, April 12-17, 2015.

The main themes of the 7th World Water Forum are: Water Security for All; Water for Development and Prosperity; Water for Sustainability: Harmonizing Humans and Nature; and Constructing Feasible Implementation Mechanisms.

In addition to the thematic consultation meeting held earlier this year, regional stakeholders are mobilizing efforts all across the world, noted the release.

The World Water Forum is organized by the World Water Council in close collaboration with the authorities of the Republic of Korea and Daegu – Gyeongbuk.
