Four water main breaks leads to boil water advisory for town in New York

ROTTERDAM, N.Y. — A water main break in Rotterdam, N.Y. has led to a boil water advisory alert for local residents, according to CBS 6 News.

In an updated report, town officials said that four water main breaks occurred within an 18 hour span.

Even when water is restored, which was supposed to happen late Monday night, June 30, 2014, the boil water advisory will remain in effect for a 24 to 36 hours, stated the article.
