Giving thanks and spreading the word this holiday season

Nov. 7, 2014

Now is a good time to market your services.

During the “most wonderful time of the year,” customers are out in droves at malls and retail stores shopping for holiday gifts. During this holiday season, and especially this month, we are also giving thanks to friends, family and supporters. Additionally, there is no better time than now to turn up your marketing services and set the stage for a successful 2015.

As customers are in shopping mode this season, it is actually the perfect time to evaluate your current marketing strategy and advertise your services and products. As a business owner, there are many marketing programs available. You can use direct mail campaigns, newspaper and media ads or more elaborate promotions.

Some water treatment dealers are also finding success with online marketing. Using social media your marketing plan can include a new promotion every week or so, letting customers know about special deals you are offering at your dealership. Not only does this reward the customer for being loyal to your water treatment service, but it also keeps your brand in front of them on a set schedule.

You can also use holidays, such as Thanksgiving, as a reason to contact customers. A holiday or birthday card is a great way to show your appreciation for their business. Recognizing a group, such as the military, senior citizens or students, is a good way to establish your roots in the community.

The staff of Water Technology would like to take this opportunity to wish those who celebrate a Happy Thanksgiving. We thank all of you for taking the time to read our publication and its website. We would also like to thank our supporters, including our writers and advertisers, for helping to make our publication and its website possible on a daily and monthly basis.
