Crestview awards five-year contract to CH2M HILL

DENVER — Crestview City Council first approved a contract for CH2M HILL to manage its activated sludge wastewater facility and adjacent land application facility in February 1994.

DENVER — The Crestview, Florida’s City Council voted to continue its partnership with CH2M HILL, approving a five-year contract with an automatic renewal option for an additional five years, according to a press release.

The partnership began in February 1994 when the Crestview City Council approved a contract for CH2M HILL to manage its activated sludge wastewater facility and adjacent land application facility, stated the release.

The release reported that Crestview needed help maintaining an overloaded system during the planning and construction of upgrades to the solids-handling facility and assistance with wastewater plant upgrades.

CH2M HILL’s contract was renewed in 1999, 2004 and again in 2009, noted the release.

“We are grateful to the city for expressing its confidence in us to continue delivering high quality services for it growing treatment plant,” said Steve Meininger, CH2M HILL senior vice president and managing director, Operations Management Services.
