Franklin Electric elects new company director

FORT WAYNE, Ind. — Franklin Electric is a global provider of complete fueling and water systems, serving customers in municipal, commercial, industrial, residential, agricultural and fueling applications.

FORT WAYNE, Ind. — Franklin Electric Co. announced that its board of directors has elected Jennifer Sherman as the director of the company, effective Jan. 1, 2015, according to a press release.

Earlier this year, Sherman was elected chief operating officer of Federal Signal, stated the release.

The release reported that Sherman joined Federal Signal as corporate counsel in 1994, and in 2010, she was elected as the chief administrative officer and was responsible for corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, legal, information technology, human resources, compliance and government affairs activities for Federal Signal as well as its subsidiaries.

Sherman has a BBA in business finance from the University of Michigan’s School of Business Administration and a JD from the University of Michigan Law School, noted the release.
