BIO-SEA hosts seminar on ballast water treatment systems

LUNEL, France — Partners from around the world attended the event held in the BIO-SEA production facility located in Lunel.

LUNEL, France — In November 2014, BIO-UV’s BIO-SEA organized a technical seminar (maintenance and commissioning) on its ballast water treatment (BWT) systems in the BIO-SEA production facility located in Lunel, according to a press release.

Partners from around the world attended the event, stated the release.

The release reported that countries included China, Germany, Italy, Greece, Spain, Singapore, Chili, Korea, Cyprus, the Netherlands and the U.S.

The seminar was held in hopes of strengthening the technical skills and specific information on BIO-SEA’s BWT systems, continued the release.

The seminar’s workshops and handling of products allowed the participants to gain a better understanding of the BWT systems and become certified to provide ship owners around the world with “turnkey studies and implementation projects of BIO-SEA systems,” noted the release.
