Organizers call for Mexico Water Prize applications

DAEGU-GYEONGBUK, Korea — The deadline to apply for the third edition of the Mexico Water Prize, previously known as the Compromiso Mexico Prize, is Jan. 30, 2015.

DAEGU-GYEONGBUK, Korea — Applications are being accepted for the third edition of the Mexico Water Prize, according to a press release.

The Mexico Water Prize, previously known as the Compromiso Mexico Prize, aims to divulge, promote and stimulate best practices in “implemented public policies which have had successful local outcomes for water resources management” as well as can demonstrate measurable results in the solution of problems related to sewerage, sanitation services and water supply, stated the release.

The release reported that the deadline to apply for the Mexico Water Prize is Jan. 30, 2015.

The prize will be awarded during the seventh World Water Forum taking place April 12-17, 2015, in Daegu-Gyeongbuk, noted the release.
