ADELAIDE, Australia — Unitywater awarded TRILITY, an Australian private water utility, with its “Design, Build, Operate and Maintain contract” for the rehabilitation of the Redcliffe Sewage Treatment Plant in South East Queensland, Australia, according to a press release.
The contract includes the delivery of a design and build phase for the rehabilitation of the treatment plant as well as the operations and maintenance of the plant through 2022, stated the release.
The sewage plant, which services businesses and residents in the Redcliffe Peninsula and surrounding areas, will supply services for around 70,000 people once rehabilitated, reported the release.
"We are delighted to have the opportunity to build a strong working relationship with Unitywater and together we will deliver a successful project,” said TRILITY Managing Director Francois Gouws. “We are fortunate as the Unitywater team has put significant effort into improving and optimizing the existing plant since 2012. We are pleased to be able to form a partnership to continue their excellent work and support Unitywater in providing efficient and effective services to the communities within the Redcliffe Peninsula.”
TRILITY provides wastewater, water and reuse solutions to Australian municipal and industrial sectors, noted the release.
