The Water Council welcomes new director of finance and operations

MILWAUKEE, Wis. — Starting April 1, Amy Jenson will lead the development of the organization’s financial management strategy and oversee operations, including developing and implementing all procedures and policies both in the finance and general operations.

MILWAUKEE, Wis. — The Water Council announced Amy Jenson has joined the organization as the first director of finance and operations, according to a press release.

Beginning her new position with The Water Council on April 1, Jenson will lead the development of the organization’s financial management strategy and oversee operations, including developing and implementing all procedures and policies both in finance and general operations, stated the release.

Prior to her new position with The Water Council, reported the release, Jenson served as the managing director at Skylight Music Theatre since 2009.

The release added that before Skylight, she served in several finance-related positions in Milwaukee, including vice president of finance and administration at United Performing Arts fund, vice president and chief financial officer at Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra and audit manager at Ernst & Young LLP.

Jenson, CPA, has more than 20 years of experience in accounting and nonprofit management and received her MBA from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, continued the release.
