SWCS’s North Carolina chapter recognizes Charlotte-based carwash for water conservation efforts

CHAROLETTE, N.C. — Autobell Car Wash Inc. has been largely recognized for its water treatment and conservation efforts by media, conservation, utility and civic organizations.

CHAROLETTE, N.C. — The North Carolina Hugh Hammond Bennett Chapter of the Soil and Water Conservation Society (SWCS) named Charlotte-based Autobell Car Wash Inc. as the 2015 Conservation Business of the Year, according to the press release.

The North Carolina chapter award recognizes a private business or industry for “excellence in industry resource management,” stated the release.

Autobell has been largely recognized for its water treatment and conservation efforts by media, conservation, utility and civic organizations, reported the release.

The 2015 Conservation Business of the Year recognition is the 11th environmental award presented to Autobell since 2000, continued the release.

“We are very pleased to recognize Autobell for the company’s dedication to water conservation and quality and for the implementation of innovative practices that enhance its business while protecting our state’s natural resources,” said Dawn Williamson, SWCS chapter board member. “Autobell is to be commended for a business management plan that serves the dual role of economic growth and resource conservation.”

SWCS promotes the art and science of water, soil and related natural resource management to accomplish sustainability, noted the release.
