GREENWOOD, Ind. — After two decades serving the Columbian market and to fortify the brand even further, Endress+Hauser announced it is acquiring 100 percent of the process automation business of its longtime sales and service partner in Bogota, Columbia, Colsein Ltda., according to a press release.
Colsein’s process automation business will be transferred to a new Endress+Hauser sales subsidiary on Jan. 1, 2016, to gain additional market share and to fortify the Endress+Hauser brand even further in Columbia, stated the release.
The company will continue to maintain its headquarters in the city of Bogota, continued the release.
“We believe Columbia represents a market with great potential for further growth,” said Endress+Hauser Chief Operating Officer Michael Ziesemer.
Colsein’s managing director and founder, Gabriel Navas, will stay on as a member of the board, noted the release.
