GE launches enhanced remote monitoring platform

FAIRFIELD, Conn. — The update allows customers to have access to GE’s subject matter experts.

FAIRFIELD, Conn. — GE has improved its InSight* Industrial Internet solution to help customers improve plant performance, according to a press release.

Customers using the resource can remotely monitor facility data, noted the release. GE experts working around the world support customers with setup and configuration, wireless enablement services, troubleshooting and training to drive efficiency.

InSight captures operating data from various plant applications to help customers optimize water and process applications, stated the release. Enhancements to the tool include better reporting, inventory management and fleet view for customers with more than one location.

Customers will also have access to GE’s subject matter experts, reported the release. Data accessed is hosted in a secure, cloud-based environment.

Users can also receive customized alerts and reporting in InSight, shared the release.
