SPOKANE, Wash. — APANA has made its cloud-based water management system available for commercial and industrial companies, according to a press release.

The software and hardware solution allows businesses to save water and money, stated the release. They can save water and eliminate contamination.

The release noted that APANA customers have experienced an average of 20 percent in water savings so far, as well as an average payback on capital expenditures of 18 months. Many states offer rebates for the product, including California, Washington and Nevada.

"Businesses have ignored their total water footprint largely because they have not had an effective tool to manage it," said Matt Rose, co-founder and CEO of APANA, in the release. "Amid growing water scarcity, tighter regulatory mandates and rising investor scrutiny, water management and accounting must now be a core competency of business just as carbon was before it. APANA is excited to be at the heart of the water management revolution and to contribute to a more sustainable water future."

The company uses a timeline to help customers save money, reported the release. Mechanical and operational failures are identifies and resolved, greater data transparency strengthens operational procedures and the creation of corporate benefits are designed to reduce costs and enhance brand reputation.

A variety of customers have employed the solution, including the supermarket and grocery, resort and hotel, education, carwash, food processing and manufacturing, and commercial building sectors, shared the release.
