TWCA hosts U.S. water rule webinar

AUSTIN, Texas — The Texas Water Conservation Association’s Water Laws Committee will host a webinar on "Waters of the U.S. Rule" on Wednesday, July 29, at 11:30 a.m. CDT, according to twca.org.

The hour-long seminar covers various aspects of the rule, including:

  • New rules for determining adjacency;
  • The new approach to jurisdiction over other waters, including isolated wetlands;
  • The significant nexus test for case-by-case analyses; and
  • Notable exclusions or exemptions, including the treatment of ditches
