KDF® 85 Process Medium from KDF Fluid Treatment Inc. removes/reduces iron and hydrogen sulfide through redox (oxidation-reduction). It is a point-of-entry treatment that can be used alone or with existing water filtration/purification. It controls scale, bacteria and algae and works with granular activated carbon beds, ion exchange resins, carbon block filters and inline carbon filters. The medium can remove up to 99 percent of water-soluble lead, mercury, nickel, chromium and other dissolved metals and is 100 percent recyclable.
