This unique removable cartridge concept has three benefits: (1) It’s ecofriendly since the casing is reusable and only the filter cartridge needs replacing; (2) It is ecopure because the eco3 cartridge is sealed in a patented protective sleeve to protect it from cross contamination; and (3) It’s economical since the filter cartridges are generally less expensive to replace than conventional encapsulated units. All eco3 filters are NSF-certified to standards 42 and 53.
