The Clear Genius reusable filtration system will help eliminate the approximately 43 million plastic replacement filters that are used annually. The system uses a two-piece reusable cartridge and Filter Pod refills that are made from recyclable casing material, coconut shell carbon and ion exchange resin. The cartridges are designed to fit many water filtration brand pitchers as well as the company’s own. The brand was launched on Kickstarter, and a portion of proceeds will be donated to water.org.
