Endress+Hauser provides free instrumentation training to military veterans

Endress+Hauser announced it will provide training to military veterans on process instrumentation, as part of the 12-week Academy of Advanced Manufacturing (AAM) program offered by Rockwell Automation and ManpowerGroup. Professionals from Endress+Hauser will be teaching process instrumentation as part of the larger AAM curriculum starting in January 2018 and offered at no cost to veterans. Collaborating with Rockwell Automation, Endress+Hauser will offer in-depth training on technology and instrumentation for monitoring and managing temperature, flow and pressure for machinery and equipment in industrial process industries. Endress+Hauser will lend its time and expertise in process instrumentation to help train military veterans for careers in advanced manufacturing, while enhancing the technical talent pool and helping to bridge the skills gap that exists globally. Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Products Limited acquires Infinitex

Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Products Group of Companies, a re-seller and distributor of NDT and aviation equipment and supplies, announced it acquired substantially all the assets, intellectual and proprietary property including the trademarks of Infinitex Corp., a New York-based company in the field of ultrafiltration technology with its Splitter and Ultra Series. Infinitex is an OEM of membrane-based filtration systems designed to extract clean water from wastewater so it can be discharged to sewer or reused. The machines run virtually on their own with built-in microprocessing controls that monitor pressure, temperature and time. According to NDT Products, it will bring the manufacturing in-house and retain some of the key Infinitex employees moving forward. This acquisition is the latest in a series of initiatives supported by NDT Products Group to further expand its footprint in aerospace, automotive and manufacturing.
