Augury and Grundfos partner to create condition monitoring services

Grundfos, a pump and water technology company, and Augury, an AI-based mechanical diagnostics provider, are partnering to enable more reliable and sustainable water services to their customers. The partnership will bring continuous diagnostics to Grundfos’ current and future customers as well as codeveloping smart diagnostics capabilities in future products. The partnership will combine Augury’s knowledge within algorithm-powered machine listening with Grundfos’ water technology and pump systems to create ready-to-implement condition monitoring services and solutions and presenting the companies’ customers across the globe with new, digitally enabled, resilient and reliable offerings.

This partnership originally initiated in the U.S. two years ago. Grundfos’ customers are already benefiting from the condition monitoring system backed by a service agreement, allowing them to optimize productivity.

Evoqua partners with Horizon Solutions to expand local service in Puerto Rico

Evoqua Water Technologies Corp. completed an exclusive sales and distribution agreement with Horizon Solutions LLC to expand local service in Puerto Rico. Horizon Solutions, based in Manatí, Puerto Rico, provides specialized technical services, validations and equipment for water treatment needs in biopharmaceutical, general manufacturing, clinical laboratories, hospitals and farming. Operating as a new sales and distribution partner within the industrial segment, Horizon will expand Evoqua’s ability to meet customer needs across a complete line of water purification solutions.

Severn Trent signs agreement with Next Filtration for FOG technology

Severn Trent signed an agreement with Next Filtration to allow full-scale deployment of its Next FOG STOP technology, which reduces the buildup of fats, oils and grease (FOG). The deal, which also includes evaluation of additional applications, follows an extensive 18-month trial, during which time Next FOG STOP has helped reduce maintenance costs and flooding associated with sewer blockages. Using a safe and environmentally benign biological technology that enhances wastewater processes, Next FOG STOP can reduce aeration costs and the accumulation of biomass as well as control hydrogen sulphide (H2S). Additional formulations can remove hydrocarbons following oil spill contamination events.

In addition to FOG STOP, Next Filtration provides water and wastewater treatment technologies for use as an alternative to conventional filter sands, plus Next Scale Stop to prevent scale and Next QD (Quantum Disinfection), which is a media disinfectant.
