Hungary to send water purification equipment, experts to Philippines

BUDAPEST, Hungary — The equipment and experts will aid those affected by Typhoon Haiyan.

BUDAPEST, Hungary — The Hungarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs will be shipping water purification equipment supplied by the Budapest Municipal Waterworks to the Philippines to aid those in areas affected by Typhoon Haiyan, according to an article on XpatLoop.

The Budapest Municipal Waterworks will also be sending six experts and five volunteers from the Hungarian Red Cross, the article reported.

According to the article, the mission's aim is to provide safe drinking water and civil protection assistance.
