Indiana wastewater disinfection facility employs closed vessel UV system

COVENTRY, R.I. — Now commissioned, the closed vessel ultraviolet (UV) system by Neptune Benson is disinfecting the wastewater of Scottsburg, Indiana, seasonally.

COVENTRY, R.I. — Scottsburg, Indiana, recently improved its wastewater disinfection facility, according to a press release.

The city elected to replace a chlorine feed system with Neptune Benson’s closed vessel ETS-UV system, stated the release.

Now commissioned, the ultraviolet (UV) system is disinfecting the city’s wastewater seasonally, reported the release.

Neptune Benson has served the aquatics, municipal and industrial markets since 1956, noted the release.
