PPG’s proprietary anti-fouling treatment is designed specifically to enhance the performance of the company’s existing line of microfiltration (MF) and ultrafiltration (UF) membranes and spiral wound filter elements.

PPG’s proprietary anti-fouling treatment is designed specifically to enhance the performance of the company’s existing line of microfiltration (MF) and ultrafiltration (UF) membranes and spiral wound filter elements. These types of membranes are designed to remove oil and other contaminants from industrial process and wastewater so it can be safely and economically disposed or reused.

Incorporating a proprietary technology, PPG’s anti-fouling treatment:

  • Inhibits oil, grease and other tough-to-filter contaminants from collecting on, or “fouling” PPG membranes.
  • Extends the service life of PPG membranes.
  • Reduces replacement maintenance costs.

Potential applications for PPG’s filtration membranes include industrial water and wastewater, oil and gas, automotive and industrial paint lines, and others.
