Seventh World Water Forum registration now available

MARSEILLE, France — Registration for this year’s World Water Forum is now available with early bird rates through Dec. 31.

MARSEILLE, France — The Seventh World Water Forum will take place April 12-17, 2015, in Daegu & Gyeongbuk, Rep. of Korea, according to a press release.

The World Water Forum is the largest water-related event in the world, culminating a three-year preparatory process in one week of sessions, debates and cultural activities, bringing together water experts with policy makers and civil society, stated the release.

The international event will discuss various issues through thematic, science and technology, political and regional processes and a Citizen’s Forum will also be offered, including youth activities, cultural events, side events and a Water Expo & Fair, continued the release.

The release reported that roughly 35,000 participants from around 170 countries such as heads of states, public agencies, international organizations, academia, enterprises, civil society, NGOs, journalists, citizens and more, are expected to attend this year’s World Water Forum.

Registration is now open with early bird rates available through Dec. 31 and entrance fees have been developed according to different categories of participants such as: Those from developed countries, developing countries, students and NGOs, noted the release.
