Sloan joins Cubs organization, helps expand efforts in water sustainability

FRANKLIN PARK, Ill. — As part of the agreement between Sloan and the Cubs organization, the Cubs spring training facility, located in Mesa, Arizona, will be named Sloan Park.

FRANKLIN PARK, Ill. — Sloan, manufacturer of intelligent water solutions, has joined the Cubs organization as a Legacy Partner and the team’s Official Water Efficiency Partner, according to a press release.

The Cubs spring training facility, located in Mesa, Arizona, will be named Sloan Park as a part of the agreement between Sloan and the Cubs, stated the release.

Sloan will help the Cubs expand its ongoing sustainability efforts as well as improve the fans’ overall experience at Sloan Park and at Wrigley Field, added the release.

Helping to boost its efforts in sustainability, reported the release, the Cubs will implement Sloan’s products in Sloan Park and also plan to integrate the products inside Wrigley Field and its surrounding facilities as part of the 1060 Project construction.

"Water is an increasingly important natural resource, by helping communities and organizations like the Chicago Cubs save water, Sloan helps to raise awareness of water conservation in this country and around the world,” Said Sloan President Jim Allen. “Responsible use of water is critical to local communities and to the world. Our partnership with the Chicago Cubs organization gives us the opportunity to help build winning teams through sustainable solutions."
