Tap resource completes major project phase at Mesa Utilities

TAP Resource Development Group announced it has completed the first phase of a major consulting assignment at the City of Mesa Utilities Department.

MESA, Ariz., Nov 21, 2000—TAP Resource Development Group announces the completion of the first phase of a major consulting assignment at the City of Mesa Utilities Department.

The recently completed first phase of the project included a comprehensive assessment of the organization's leadership, culture, and strategy; in-depth interviews of the leadership team and staff across the organization; and the development of an action plan that specified major improvement tasks in four areas: strategic focus, organizational structure, leadership development, and results and performance focus.

TAP Resource will further assist the Department in sharpening their strategic focus, aligning their organization in terms of its leadership and culture, and in the development of a performance management system. TAP may also conduct leadership training for various management and supervisory levels of the organization.

The City of Mesa provides water, wastewater, electric and gas utility service to over 420,000 residents of the City.
