Xylem announces newest TN dewatering solutions branch

Xylem announce the opening of its newest dewatering solutions branch in Blountville, Tenn.

BRIDGEPORT, NJ, May 8, 2013 -- Xylem, a leading global water technology company focused on addressing the world's most challenging water issues, is pleased to announce the opening of its newest dewatering solutions branch in Blountville, Tenn., managed by current Charlotte, NC, branch manager, Adam Nichols.

Jarrod Williamson, Xylem dewatering solutions' southeast regional manager, said, "This area has been a growth target for Xylem for a number of years. We have had strong support in the region from our Charlotte, N.C., location but are now ready to give it more direct attention. Our focus in the area will be diverse, but will include industrial work, municipal opportunities, utility and general contractors, heavy highway constructors, and work in the aggregate market."

"We are excited to expand our footprint in the industrial and mining markets, and eager to provide more attention to eastern Tennessee and southwestern Virginia," he said.

The facility has a 15,000-square-foot shop and 3,000 square feet of office space, three dock and nine drive-in doors, and three acres of paved yard space. Located at 2020 Highway 75 in Blountville, Tenn., this branch will serve southwest Virginia through Knoxville, Tenn.
