WARWICKSHIRE, UK, Aug. 20, 2007 -- Morgan Sindall, the construction and regeneration group, has launched an integrated professional design and project management business Morgan Professional Services (MPS) following its acquisition of AMEC plc's national construction, civil engineering and design business, Design & Project Services (DPS) last month (July).

MPS will incorporate the design and engineering capability of the former DPS business and will provide professional design, construction management and project management services.

Headquartered in Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwickshire, MPS will be supported by four UK regional offices in London, Glasgow, Warrington (Birchwood) and Swynnerton with international offices in Basel, Lyon and Shanghai. The business will be headed up by managing director, Martin Broome, DPS' former commercial director. Martin brings considerable experience to the role having held a number of senior positions in the construction industry in both the UK and abroad. He has valuable knowledge of Morgan Sindall's business from his previous role as commercial director for Morgan Est. He will be supported by business development director Paul Worland, operations director Stuart Rothery, design director David Hammond and project management director, Bob Johnson.
