IWA extends call for papers for joint specialist conference

CINCINNATI — The eighth biennial International Water Association (IWA) Efficient2015 Conference and the sixth biennial IWA PI2015 will join together for the first time.

CINCINNATI — The International Water Association (IWA) announced that two specialist conferences will join together for the first time, according to a press release.

Held in the U.S. for the first time, the two conferences will take place in Cincinnati, Ohio, April 20-24, 2015, stated the release.

The release reported that the eighth biennial IWA Efficient2015 Conference, organized by the Efficient Urban Water Management Specialist Group, and the sixth biennial IWA PI2015 Conference, organized by the Benchmarking and Performance Assessment Specialist Group, will discuss solutions to tackle the challenges water services are facing in the 21st century.

The combined event, with a single registration, will bring together a large network of water professionals to exchange experiences on some of the key topics on urban water, and will host an exhibition showcasing the latest water and energy-efficient products, services and technologies, continued the release.

IWA announced an extended deadline of Nov. 15 to submit abstracts, and abstracts can be submitted through the dual-conference’s website, noted the release.
