Journal AWWA editor-in-chief extends appointment

DENVER — Published since 1914, Journal AWWA is the organization’s flagship publication and includes both professional and scholarly content.

DENVER — The American Water Works Association (AWWA) announced water expert and author Michael J. McGuire, Ph.D., PE, will continue his appointment as the editor-in-chief for Journal – American Water Works Association through June 2016, according to a press release.

McGuire has been handling the responsibilities of the publication’s interim editor-in-chief since June 2014, stated the release.

Published since 1914, Journal AWWA is the organization’s flagship publication and includes both professional and scholarly content, noted the release.

“AWWA is delighted to have Mike McGuire continue to lead Journal AWWA as editor-in-chief,” said AWWA Director of Publishing Liz Haigh. “He is a highly-esteemed professional with proven technical expertise, long-term service to AWWA and considerable skills as an editor.”
