LAM’s September issue reports on California’s water crisis

WASHINGTON — Landscape Architecture Magazine(LAM) is the monthly magazine of the American Society of Landscape Architects.

WASHINGTON — The September 2014 issue of Landscape Architecture Magazine (LAM) will cover the increasing alarm over shrinking reserves, as California’s ongoing drought conditions enter into a third year, according to a press release.

The September issue will also feature a well-known beach house in the Hamptons, which moved inland from the threat of crashing waves, stated the release.

The release continued that an update on California scientists’ efforts to control the plant disease known as sudden oak death, will also be published in the upcoming issue.

LAM, founded in 1910, is the monthly magazine of the American Society of Landscape Architects, noted the release.
