SHELTON, Conn. — Leggette, Brashears & Graham Inc. (LBG) announced it has named Brad Cross and Mitch Kannenberg as associate vice presidents, according to a press release.

LBG is a professional groundwater and environmental engineering services firm, stated the release.

Cross, based in the Austin office of LBG-Guyton Associates, has more than 30 years of experience in the field of surface water and groundwater hydrology, environmental assessments, project management and water resources, continued the release.

The release reported that he previously served for 15 years at the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality and also served as a consultant to the U. S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) in the development of regulatory guidelines for the 1996 Amend­ments to the Safe Drinking Water Act.

Cross, added the release, developed and directed a statewide drinking water protection program and provided technical assistance to more than 300 communities throughout Texas.

Kannenberg, based in LBG office located in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, has worked on several projects involving groundwater resource evaluation and quality throughout the past 25 years, including groundwater development evaluations, groundwater supply sustainability and well field design, stated the release.

Kannenberg is a licensed professional engineer and was recently elected to the board of directors for the American Water Works Association (AWWA), where he will serve a three-year term starting in June, noted the release.
