LG Chem acquired NanoH2O in April 2014, stated the release. It has since been aggressive in growing its nanocomposite membrane technology and expanding sales operations throughout the globe and manufacturing capabilities.
The company’s new factory in Cheong-ju, Korea, will produce reverse osmosis membranes for seawater, brackish water and tap water when it opens in September, noted the release. LG Chem is experienced in roll-to-roll coating technology and chemical and polymer technology.
