Long-time NGWA member receives Standard Bearer Award

WESTERVILLE, Ohio — The award will be presented in December at the 2014 NGWA Groundwater Expo and Annual Meeting in Las Vegas.

WESTERVILLE, Ohio — Beverly L. Herzog, long-time National Ground Water Association (NGWA) member of Champaign, Illinois, has received the NGWA Standard Bearer Award for outstanding volunteer involvement in the legislative process, according to a press release.

Herzog has been active in the Association in many capacities including serving as: Past chair and member of NGWA’s Government Affairs Committee, attendee of NGWA’s Legislative Fly-in to Washington D.C. as well as this year’s Drive-in, frequent contributor to NGWA’s Political Action Committee and NGWA board member, stated the release.

The release reported that she also has been the recipient of numerous other NGWA awards including the Life Member Award, Robert Storm Interdivisional Cooperation Award and the Keith E. Anderson Award from NGWA’s Scientists and Engineers Division.

The Standard Bearer Award will be presented in December at the 2014 NGWA Groundwater Expo and Annual Meeting in Las Vegas, noted the release.
