NanoH20 changes company name to LG NanoH20

EL SEGUNDO, Calif. — The recent acquisition of NanoH20 Inc. by LG Chem Ltd. triggers the company to change its name to LG NanoH20 Inc.

EL SEGUNDO, Calif. — LG NanoH20 Inc., manufacturer of cost-effective reverse osmosis (RO) membranes for seawater desalination, has completed the legal filing to officially change the company’s operating name from NanoH20 Inc. to LG NanoH20 Inc., according to a press release.

The change in the operating name was sparked by the recent acquisition of LG NanoH2O by LG Chem Ltd., stated the release.

The release noted that LG Chem is an international chemical company operating three main business units: IT and electronic materials, petrochemicals and energy solution.

“This is the beginning of yet another chapter,” said LG NanoH2O President Chul Nam. “The synergy of the NanoH2O and LG brands is going to propel us to become the market leader in RO membrane technology. Customers will see a surge in commercial growth and product development from LG NanoH2O, along with enhanced customer and technical support from our growing network of offices, representatives and distributors.”
